Yesterday, a client mentioned that it is harder to gain weight than to lose weight. She observed that it is harder for her to go against herself and keep eating when she’s feeling full, knows she’s gaining fat and is feeling the disappointment of that. “Losing weight is much easier.”, she claimed.
It’s easier to abide by your inner signals of what and how much to eat because of the inner respect and pride that comes with it. Everyone eventually tells me that being true to themselves is ultimately easier and happier.
